Need a fast, easy, and healthy BBQ sauce recipe. This is our go-to recipe for any time we need a good BBQ fix, especially during the summer. I personally love this recipe since I usually have all the ingredients already in my home. Whip it up in a blender or if you use garlic powder instead of a garlic clove you can just use a whisk!

Easy BBQ Sauce [Oil Free & Refined Sugar-Free]

Ingredients:
o 1 - 7oz jar of tomato paste
o 2 tsp white miso
o 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
o 1 tsp lemon juice
o 2 cloves of garlic
o 1 tsp onion powder
o 1 tsp smoked paprika
o 3 tbsp date paste
o 1 tbsp molasses
Directions:
o Combined ingredients into a blender
o Blend until well combined - Our BBQ Sauce should be a thick consistency
(see notes for thinner)
o Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
Optional:
*Add water 1 tbsp at a time for a thinner sauce
*Add an extra clove of garlic for more heat
*Can swap out garlic cloves for 1 tsp of garlic powder for a milder sauce
*BBQ freezes well
We love having our BBQ sauce on plant-based burgers, tofu, tempeh, fries, jackfruit, soy curls, and on top of our lentil loaf.
