Easy Holiday Biscuits

Any else missing a great biscuit recipe?


Today I'm sharing our easy holiday biscuit recipe that I know the entire family will love.


You can change up the herbs/spices to keep this delicious recipe perfect for any special celebration.


If you are gluten-free, I have you covered as well with a swap for the whole wheat flour.

Holiday Biscuits
8 Biscuits
By: The Jaroudi Family 

Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour 
1 cup oat flour
1 cup unsweetened cold applesauce 1⁄2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1⁄4 cup nutritional yeast
1 tbsp white miso
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried chives 

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.                  

Combined all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix in cold applesauce and miso until dough forms.

Roll out dough and cut 8 biscuits (two inches thick). Bake biscuits on parchment paper for six minutes.

Flip biscuits over and bake for six more minutes. 
**Change up the spices for a different twist on the recipe 
+Make these gluten-free by swapping buckwheat flour for the whole wheat pastry.
