How Not to Diet Cookbook | Chocolate-Covered Cherry BROL Bowl

Interested in upping your breakfast nutrition?

Well, the chocolate-covered cherry BROL bowl from the new How Not to Diet Cookbook will do just that.

BROL stands for barley, rye, oats, and lentils in equal amounts cooked.

I personally have noticed being much fuller from adding lentils to my morning oatmeal.

Lentils might sound weird to add to oats, but seriously you can't taste them at all. I suggest - black, brown, or green lentils to try out. Let us know if you jump on the lentil oats team - I guarantee you'll enjoy it!!

You'll find the chocolate-covered cherry BROL bowl on page 178 of the cookbook.

Chocolate, cherries, walnuts, blackstrap molasses, and BROL - you are ready for one amazing meal!

Looks so good! Do you cook the grains all together? How do you keep them from getting mushy? I do the chocolate cherry mixture with steel cut oats and love it

Do you just cook plain lentils and add them to oats in equal parts?
