Wendy's frosty were my go to treat a few years ago.
I loved eating them with a spoon and how thick the consistency was.
Since being whole food plant based I find this recipe is such a nice swap and the secret ingredient of oats helps thicken the shake.
You can change up the sweetness level by adding in more dates or less, and also how much vanilla flavoring you enjoy.
Overall this "Wendy's Frosty" oat shake is filling and a delicious sweet treat.

Which one is your favorite?
The vanilla flavor has been my favorite post-workout snack and I love them ice cold!
I hope you'll give this recipe a try, and let us know if you liked it!
We love seeing photographs of our recipes and just in general hearing from you guys!
I have made your vanilla and chocolate frosties, and more recently your ginger pear shake. Oh my gosh! They are all equally so delicious! I have to say I was ambivalent about making the ginger pear but it was a lovely surprise! I have a regular Oster blender and an older Vita-mixer and have had trouble with both in blending ingredients quickly and smoothly. Perhaps it is because I only soak the Oats for a few minutes. Does letting the oats soak for up to 2 hours allow for easier blending process?
These are both yummy! Thank you for the recipes. Next time I will even soak the oats and dates first as you recommended (oops!).
Made the vanilla today...love love love it!
